The Trust is privileged to work with a variety of partners creating a significantly bigger difference to people who are living in outback Australia.
Connellan Airways Trust has been partnering with several school of the air and distance education schools with this program since 2008 to provide accommodation grants to enrolled families. These grants support families required to travel and stay away from home whilst attending in-school events. These educational experiences are vital in engaging and connecting students with their teachers, and their peers. Other than the educational outcomes, in-schools provide opportunities for social and emotional wellbeing activities, often for the whole family. The Trust has supported school of the air families since inception. Some families even remember their mail being delivered by Connellan Airways (Connair) planes!
Connellan Airways Trust is a partner with Central Queensland University in funding remote outback scholarships. CQU administers the scholarships and those who are interested need to apply directly with CQU.
