General Grant
"This general grant greatly assisted me to pay for my university placement costs while undergoing my final year teaching placement for 10 weeks. Coming from a remote mining town in regional NSW I need to move away from home to attend Flinders University in Adelaide and to undertake my final placement in one of Adelaide’s Southern suburbs. Because of this it brings on extraordinary costs of onsite university accommodation, especially when I cannot work due to placement. This general grant eased the stress as I knew my accommodation was paid for that time and I could 100% focus on my placement."
