Our Recipients 

With the generous support of Connellan Airways Trust, Anglicare WA purchased three tablets for use by our outreach staff in the remote Kimberley region of Western Australia as a tool in their service provision. These tablets enable our staff to provide more holistic, in-depth services to some of the most vulnerable people in Western Australia. Living remotely can preclude people from accessing the services they desperately need, but with the help of the tablets, funded by the Connellan Airways Trust, our outreach workers can now connect Western Australians living in the Kimberley to a greater range of support, establish safety networks for clients to access when support workers are not in their communities, and importantly, are able to provide services in a way that is more client-centred. With tablets making it easier to access professional resources, tools and notes on the road, our outreach support workers no longer have to dedicate as much time to arduous administrative tasks during sessions, and can maintain absolute focus on attending directly to the needs of their clients. Our clients and partners are aware of the impact the Connellan Airways Trust has had in making this change through the placement of large stickers displaying the Trust’s logo, which we have proudly placed on the back of each tablet. We are so appreciative of the support we have received from Connellan Airways Trust and firmly believe that the impact the Trust has on people living in remote communities across Australia is invaluable.
