Curtis - Eildon Park Station

 E.J Connellan Award

Home for Curtis is Eildon Park Station in Winton QLD and having completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences at the University of Queensland in 2016 he received the Deans Commendation for Academic Excellence.   He is now in his 2nd year of a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at James Cook University QLD. He plays premier rugby at Teachers West Rugby where he also coaches several of the junior teams as well at the Townsville’s Cathedral School where he also works as a Boarding School Supervisor.

Curtis said this in his report from 2019:

"I finished up my two years at the Cathedral School as a boarding school supervisor a couple of weeks early this year allowing me time to travel and study on Thursday Island for one of my rural placements. I have been excited for this for some time and since arriving it has lived up to all expectations! The experience I am getting, the beautiful people and places I am seeing is truly amazing. I am going to be here for another month up until Christmas time which I will be spending with family.

I would just like to say a quick thank you for all of your support. Without it, 2019 would not have been as special as it has been and I most definitely would not have been able to experience half of the amount things as I did."
