Liz Bird Chair/Director
Liz, with her husband own and operate an organic beef cattle property 300km east of Alice Springs in the southern Northern Territory. They have lived there since 1994 and in that time have educated their children via Alice Springs School of the Air, as well the local boarding school St Philips College and Scots PGC in Warwick, QLD.
Liz is involved in many Alice Springs and NT based committees ranging from children’s education to the pastoral industry. She believes that supporting and encouraging people to come together for common goals helps lessen remoteness, and in turn keeps more people staying and working in these areas.
